The Arun Estates Estate Signage Rebrand

Since 2009 Graffiti Design has been enjoying a good relationship with Arun Estates on the majority of their signage rebrand. The south east’s biggest independent estate agency trades under 5 names – Ward & Partners – Cubitt & West – Pittis – Douglas Allen and Rooney & Co, there are over 100 high street stores throughout.

The main focus of the work has been the complete re-brand of the Kent based Ward & Partners. Graffiti worked with Arun Estates on developing a new fascia, interior and display package that could be rolled out throughout the county to all the 43 stores.

The main standard fascia was a plethora of aluminium built-up and flat cut lettering all of which illuminated by our very own LED light trough. Another part of the package was internal wall decorations including maps of the local area, window graphics and more branding.

Graffiti Design has now recently received a large order from the Ward & Partners division for their own LED Property Display Unit, which is currently in production.

The Ward & Partners project has been extremely well received by Arun Estates and Graffiti Design are now working with them again on the Douglas Allen internal re-brand, including wall maps, large scale photos and branding. “The whole process from initial visuals to the finish product was conducted with professionalism and was carried out smoothly and quickly” said Arun Estates Premises Manager – Tony Webster.

New and existing site revamps for Cubitt & West is also in the pipeline and internal window displays for the Isle of Wight based Pittis have been attended to which has resulted in another great success.

Bruce Pestell, project manager for the work said “The project has allowed us to develop new products and services for our clients, and to see it all flourish in practise is really satisfying. All at Arun Estates have been a pleasure to work with and now are one of our most valued clients”.

This is a fine example of how Graffiti Design once again works with the clients from the design stage all the way through to the finished manufactured product, and relishes every minute of it.

Brighton stadium signage

More good news from the Graffiti Design team, we have now been awarded the Brighton stadium signage contract for the second phase of the Brighton & Hove Albion American Express Community Stadium. The contract was awarded following a tender process and the decision was made early this week.

The Community Stadium has been a roaring success since it opened in August 2011; last week it was a winner at the Stadium Business Awards in Turin where they scooped the best new venue award. Martin Perry, Director commented “We were up against some very strong opposition, so to win this award is a remarkable achievement and something we can all be extremely proud.” (Source

The second phase of the stadium project involves an extension for the stadium and an increase in the number of seats in the north and west stands. The works at the stadium involve the further roll out of signage across the stadium, this involves products such as monoliths, aluminium trays, free standing post mounted signs, internal Wayfinding & Hospitality.

Also, being manufactured this week is the signage for the concert being held next weekend, the Big Beach Boutique for Fatboy Slim and pals. Colin Pestell, Chairman commented “We are very pleased to have secured the second stage of this project; we have taken a great deal of pride in the success of the stadium and feel that we have done our bit to ensure its continued success”.

Graffiti wins retail signage rebrand contract

I am pleased to announce that Graffiti Design are now the sole supplier for Monsoon Accessorize signage.  The extremely successful fashion retailer awarded the contract to Graffiti Design following a tender process with some of the UK’s top sign companies for their retail signage rebrand.

The works for Monsoon Accessorize come following a re-brand for the company in 2011 and consequently the pressing need to bring the existing estate up-to-date with the new brand image. The company founded in 1976 as a market stall on the Portobello road has remained true to its roots with its new image as it is both contemporary and feminine.

Graffiti were chosen as the main supplier for a number of reasons, but one of the main factors was their experience in re-brand projects for other retailers. Over the last 24 months Graffiti have refreshed stores with new signage identities for Fat Face, White Stuff and Oasis. Re-branding projects plays to key strengths of the company, which are interpreting and developing designs into signage products through innovative use of materials and production techniques, this helps to bring the brand to life and help clients really stand out from the crowd.

The first phase of the roll out is being focussed on stores which are located in areas of the UK which will see an increased number of visitors due to the London Olympics. The focus will then shift to the rest of the UK and the international side of the business which is being developed due to continuing success in new markets.

Working with Monsoon Accessorize is another feather in the cap for Graffiti Design, as Managing Director Neil Keeley commented “working with one of the country’s best retailers on such a key project is fantastic for us, it just goes to show that what we provide is a service which is very appealing to our customers, and that all the hard work we have put into the business over the last few years is paying off”.

The move by Monsoon to re-brand is being seen as a smart move by many retail industry observers, as many retailers continue to struggle to attract recession shackled customers, investing in strengthening brand image can and hopefully will pay dividends.

New Estate Agents Signs

We’ve just launched our new range of property display units at Graffiti Design signs. Our latest creation from our R&D lab is an LED illuminated, freestanding display unit designed for estate agents.

The standard unit is made from aluminium and has 6 x A3 size landscape pockets which can also be used as 12 x A4 portrait pockets. Strips of LEDs provide down lighting which fully highlights each property. The design is very efficient as it uses LEDs which are more energy efficient than standard lighting, and the design is simple and modern. It fits nicely into any store layout, especially for window display and can be tailored to either hold more or less advertisements. The unit come in a range of colours and has space for the Estate Agents’ branding.

The move to our new premises has allowed us the space to start a research and development facility for all our products and the new LED property display unit is the first of many. All the electrics are neatly hidden and stowed away within the cylindrical centre and it can be simply plugged into and standard plug socket.

One key feature of the display stand, is that it can be placed anywhere within the store. As it provides illuminated advertisement on both sides, it is great for positioning anywhere, and can be moved with ease.

The illuminated estate agent display has quickly attracted plenty of attention which has resulted in some substantial orders already.
